The digital health platform ActiGraph LEAP® has a new feature that addresses the challenge of missing data in clinical trials by providing a proactive solution. The system utilizes a dashboard with intuitive alerts that notify both study participants and site personnel of potential data collection issues. By alerting participants directly on their mobile devices, the platform empowers them to resolve common problems, such as a low battery or full memory, without needing intervention from study staff.

For more complex issues, a site dashboard allows personnel to quickly identify and address problems with a participant’s data stream. This multi-pronged approach ensures high-quality, complete data capture from wearable devices, making it easier to meet study protocol requirements and leading to more successful clinical trials.
