Rose Research Center Leans On Medrio To Simplify Workflows And Study Design
Transcribing and verifying handwritten notes isn’t typically an efficient way to collect data. For The Rose Research Center (RRC), a leading research partner specializing in solving issues around tobacco and nicotine dependence, the manual paper process led to slowdowns, data entry and transcription errors.
According to RRC Associate Director of Data Management, LaKeshia Scott, the manual method of recording data was extremely time-consuming as reading entries often proved to be difficult. In need of a solution, RCC reached out to Medrio to help transition their data collection processes from paper to digital.
Using Medrio’s Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO) solutions, RCC was better positioned to not only record data more accurately, but also experienced a greater flexibly in reaching more patients, compiling faster study-builds, and more.
