Leveraging Real-World Patient Journeys At Scale For Clinical Trial Strategies

A solid knowledge base that can guide clinical drug development strategies from conception to implementation is produced by an understanding of patient-level healthcare journeys supported by extensive, connected, real-world data. In this paper, the author discusses how real-world data and advanced software solutions are being used to stitch together the full patient journey, and how these longitudinal insights can be used to inform clinical trial strategies from design through execution. Specifically, once collected, this data is utilized to identify clinical trial patient populations, develop recruitment, access, and support strategies, and shape trial design for success.
